Introduction

Any Command ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our remote control application for Windows and Android.

Any Command is designed with privacy as a core principle. The application operates entirely on your local network and does not transmit your data to external servers.

Data Collection and Storage

No Cloud Storage

Any Command does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers. All communication occurs directly between your Android device and Windows PC on your local network.

Local Data Only

The application may store the following information locally on your devices:

  • Connection settings and preferences (stored on your device)
  • Custom shortcut configurations (stored on your device)
  • PIN codes for authentication (stored locally, never transmitted)

This data remains on your devices and is never shared with us or any third parties.

Network Communication

Any Command communicates exclusively over your local Wi-Fi network. The application:

  • Does not connect to the internet for remote control functionality
  • Does not use cloud servers or external services
  • Does not transmit data outside your local network
  • Requires both devices to be on the same Wi-Fi network

All data transmission is encrypted between your Android device and Windows PC using secure protocols.

Permissions

Android App Permissions

The Android application may request the following permissions:

  • Network Access: Required to communicate with your Windows PC on the local network
  • Storage: Required for file transfer functionality
  • Vibration: Optional, for haptic feedback during interactions

These permissions are used solely for the application's core functionality and are not used to collect or transmit personal information.

Windows Application

The Windows application requires network access to receive commands from your Android device. It does not access the internet or transmit data externally.

Third-Party Services

Any Command does not integrate with third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or data collection platforms. The application operates independently without external dependencies for its core functionality.

If you download the Android app from Google Play Store, Google's standard privacy policies apply to the download and installation process, but not to the application's operation itself.

Verifying What You Install

The source code is not public, so we do not ask you to take our word for it. The Windows server is distributed as a digitally signed installer, and we publish the SHA-256 hash of every release. You can confirm that the file you downloaded is byte-for-byte the one we published, and that it was signed by us and nobody else.

The signature is visible in the file's Properties dialog under Digital Signatures, and the hashes are listed on the download page.

Security

We implement security measures to protect your local network communication:

  • PIN-based authentication to prevent unauthorized access
  • Encrypted communication between devices
  • Local-only operation with no external network access

However, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your local network and devices.

Children's Privacy

Any Command is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not collect any personal information, this policy applies to all users regardless of age.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
