Word Archer

Shoot letters. Spell words. Beat the clock.

An offline anagram puzzle — shoot letter balloons, spell a word where they land, and buy yourself more time.

Word Archer is a word game you play with a bow and arrow. Shoot letter balloons out of the sky, spell a word where they land, and every word you find buys you more time on the clock.

Then it asks you the only question that matters: bank the seconds now, or keep shooting and grow the word longer for a much bigger payout. Three letters is worth four seconds. Seven is worth thirty-two.

How it plays

  • Drag back from the bow to set your angle and power, then let go.
  • Pop a balloon and its letter falls into the seven-slot row on the ground.
  • Spell a word of 3 to 7 letters and bank the seconds it is worth.
  • Longer words pay more time. ARCHERY is worth far more than ARC.
  • Landed a letter in the wrong place? Tap it to remove it. Three per attempt.

Think, then shoot

Every shot is two decisions at once: which balloon, and which gap to drop it into.

Take the short word in front of you and bank the time, or hold your nerve, keep shooting and grow it into something longer for a much bigger payout. Leave it too late and the clock runs out on a board full of letters that spell nothing.

Two ways to play

  • Campaign — ten levels, each with a score to beat. Balloons get faster, guided shots run out, and later boards start with awkward letters already in the row.
  • Free Run — endless. No goal and no finish line, just a difficulty that creeps up for as long as you can keep going. Your own best score is the thing to beat.
