FILE TRANSFER · ANDROID WINDOWS

Throw it.
It lands.

Flick sends files from your phone to your PC with one swipe — and back again. Over your own Wi-Fi. No cable, no cloud, no account.

You need both: the PC app is the runway, the phone app is the throwing arm.

LINE F · THREE STOPS

The whole trip
takes a minute.

  1. STOP 01

    Pair once

Open Flick on your PC, scan the code with your phone. That's the only setup there is — they remember each other from then on.

  2. STOP 02

    Flick it

Pick files — or share them to Flick from any app — and drag them into the portal. Or straight onto Desktop, Documents, any folder you shared.

  3. STOP 03

    It lands

Seconds later it's on your PC, checked and in place. Sending the other way? Drop files on the PC window and they land on your phone.

LIVE FROM YOUR LIVING ROOM

Today's
departures.

Photos, 4K videos, PDFs, APKs, whole folders' worth. If the Wi-Fi blinks halfway through a big one, Flick picks up exactly where it stopped. Every file is checked when it lands.

THE RETURN JOURNEY

Your PC,
in your pocket.

Tap the folder button and your PC's shared folders open full screen on the phone. Scroll your Pictures with real thumbnails, search, preview, download — even rename or tidy up. Deleted files go to the PC's Recycle Bin, not into the void.

  • You choose which folders are shared. Everything else stays private.
  • One switch on the PC turns browsing off completely.
  • Flick sits quietly in the tray and can start with Windows.

Conditions of carriage

The fine print, except we made it large — because it's the best part.

  1. §1 This ticket is valid on your own network only. Files travel directly from your phone to your PC and never pass through anyone's server.
  2. §2 Not transferable to any cloud. There is no Flick cloud. There is nothing to sign up for.
  3. §3 Every journey is encrypted. Pairing swaps keys through the QR code, and each transfer is locked to your PC's own certificate.
  4. §4 Passengers of any size are welcome. A 4 GB video rides the same way a screenshot does.
  5. §5 In case of interruption, the journey resumes from where it stopped. Nobody starts over at 97%.
  6. §6 No ads will be shown on board. Not now, not as a "special offer" later.

QUESTIONS

Lost & found.

Is it really free?

Yes. Both apps are free, with no ads and no account. Flick is made by an indie studio, Polyhistor — if you like it, a review on Google Play helps more than you'd think.

Does it need the internet?

No. It only needs your phone and your PC on the same Wi-Fi network. Files go straight across it.

Where do my files end up?

On the PC, in Downloads\Flick — or in any folder you share and drop onto while dragging. On the phone, in Download/Flick.

Can I send from the PC to my phone?

Yes. Drag files onto the Flick window, or press "Choose files". They land on the phone the same way.

Mac? iPhone? Linux?

Not yet — Flick is Windows and Android for now. Tell us which one you want next.

Is it safe to let my phone browse my PC?

Only devices you paired can connect, only the folders you picked are visible, and you can switch browsing off on the PC with one toggle.
